How does PT and OT help?
Physical and occupational therapy are conservative treatments aimed at restoring functional movements, such as standing, walking, reaching and moving different body parts. PT and OT can be effective treatments for medical conditions or injuries resulting in pain, movement dysfunction, or limited mobility.

"As a retired Nurse (Army Nurse Corps Veteran) and Home Care & Hospice Nurse, I LOVE this new "Mobile Clinic Model" which permits me to receive my outpatient services within the comfort of my own home! The benefits include: (a) 1:1 expert tailored PT treatment; (b) my tired 'caregiver' husband did not have to drive, accompany and wait for me to an outpatient facility with my cumbersome adaptive equipment, (c) I decreased my fall risk when inclement weather, fatigue and episodes of vertigo complicated my recovery. I love the continuity of care and the therapeutic relationship I enjoyed with Jennifer, my PT.
My longtime motto is "Health is our wealth". My new post op motto is "Motion is my devotion". Thank you Jennifer & Therapy in Motion "

Patient
"I am writing to praise the outstanding professional work of Dr. Wendy Ricourt. Wendy Ricourt surpassed my greatest expectations about what I hoped to accomplish through physical therapy. She inspires me to strive for goals I never thought possible. She helped me to overcome feelings of depression and helplessness. (I am a widower, my wife of 28 years died unexpectedly 12 years ago. She is always professional, yet clearly personal, kind, loving and sensitive to what I can and cannot do."
